CREATE RECIPROCAL UNDERSTANDING IN PSYCHIATRY

An exploratory platform where four artists with experience of mental or emotional distress will perform a piece of work each, as a provocation to entice respectful conversation with invited service users and health care professionals who work at all levels within mental health. We intend for this dialogue to strengthen an ethos of ‘doing with’ rather than ‘doing to’ and ultimately allow room to focus on healthcare models that are nurturing and person-centred.
